Advice to Management

None, my manager is amazing and the chain of command is serious but fair

"Not a culture I would recommend!"

I worked at Infor full-time (Less than a year)

Some really good people to work with! Lots of opportunities.

No character imbedded in management. throw employees under the bus.

Tell customers what they want to hear, and pass in down to lower level consultants

-Throw you to the wolves

— Does not care about quality of service provided to customer

— No back bones here

Advice to Management

Listen to all the voices, build character and honesty in you management structure and engage, there are long term opportunities!!

"Rate Employer"

I worked at Infor full-time (More than a year)

High Tech Company. Ample opportunities for personal development through online campus. As a remote employee you work in variety of companies, work with different people, make new friends. Learning never stops. Good line manager.

Fragmented organizational structure. Little technical support available. you fight a lone battle on a customer's site.

Advice to Management

Improve communication with subordinate employees.

"Still older poor managers around in HCM"

I worked at Infor full-time (More than 5 years)

You get to learn Amazon cloud technology. You also have a Starbucks located in the building where they house everyone.

Never given tools needed for the job. Very few control the whole design. Not respected as an architect. Management did not keep word.

Advice to Management

Continue to remove the entire old management structure in HCM.

"Development"

I have been working at Infor full-time

Knowledgeable, hard working and caring managers and co-workers make this a great place to work. Great benefits, too.

New efforts to downsize office space results in an open room floor plan that is distracting.

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work acknowledging your hardest working employees.

"Creative Director"

I worked at Infor full-time (More than 5 years)

Nice enterprise company and life work balance.

Not really disruptive, just strategy, no real access to data and proactive solutions.

Advice to Management

Build products, its not really that difficult!

"Struggles with Organic Software Development"

I worked at Infor full-time (More than 3 years)

Large organization that is well funded. Has internal design team (Hook & Loop) that can really make a difference in software design and overall approach to development, marketing.

Company has a history growing through acquisition (increasing revenue) rather than through organic (internal) development of new products and enhancements. Product releases regularly miss deadlines. Product follow the market rather than lead.

Advice to Management

Spend more time focusing inward and consider that you are managing a diverse group of highly educated and motivated employees. Your failure to establish a corporate culture that is positive is a drag on productivity and ultimately growth. What is does Infor represent?
